More About Clarke

Clarke Stone joined Sereno as a Broker Associate in 2021, representing home buyers and sellers in the Diablo Valley communities of Danville, Alamo, Blackhawk, San Ramon, Dublin and Walnut Creek. My profession is real estate and my passion is developing long term enduring relationships by putting my clients needs and goals foremost, building trust by consistently adding value and ultimately becoming their resource for all of their real estate activities. I will succeed if every client remembers how I made them feel and not everything I said or did.

Clarke spent 20 years with Macys California, ultimately becoming the Director of all Macy California stores and a member of the Board of Directors. Recruited to become the President of Roos Brothers, an upscale specialty clothing store, he worked with venture capital-funded retail and consumer products companies for the next 16 years, where he refined his creative problem-solving skills. Many of the companies were startups, and it was Clarke’s job to reorganize struggling young businesses to help them find markets for their products. Clarke received both his BA in Business and MBA from UC Berkeley and spent six years in the Army Reserves.

In early 1997 Clarke retired, looking forward to a life of travel, golf, tennis and leisure. Seven months and he’d had enough. After 36 years in the business world, he missed the challenges of solving problems, building a business and interacting with people. He’d always been interested in the real estate industry, so this seemed like the right fit at the right time.
